Changelog
A running record of what has changed in Casabeza — new features, improvements, and fixes.
A new way to share selective property information with people outside your household — no account required on their end.
You define a named, scoped link: which locations, rooms, or individual items to include, and what to show (inventory, maintenance history, upcoming tasks, or any combination). The recipient sees a clean, read-only page. You can regenerate the link at any time, set an expiry date, and see when it was last accessed.
Share views also support per-item, per-room, and per-location notes written specifically for the external audience — separate from the item's own record.
Key details:
/s/running-austere-blue-aardvark/A dedicated system for tracking utility meters and billing.
Readers can be linked to numeric channels, converting raw meter scans into a time-series of readings. Bills are recorded separately with tariff-aware calculation, giving a unified view of consumption and cost over time.
Dual-channel NFC readers for mounting at doorways, shelves, and access points. Each reader handles two independent channels over MQTT, enabling automatic tracking of item movement, stock levels, and access events without any manual scanning.
The reader companion app handles pairing, channel assignment, and log review on Android.
A personal library of reusable maintenance procedures. Define a task template once — steps, frequency, notes — and apply it to any item in your inventory. The library grows as you complete real maintenance on real objects, so it reflects your household rather than generic recommendations.
Flexible key/value metadata attached to any inventory item. Tag by serial number, purchase source, colour, warranty expiry, or anything else that doesn't fit the standard fields. Tags compose with search and filter throughout the system.
Group related inventory items, tasks, and log entries under a named project. Useful for renovations, investigations, or any multi-item, multi-step effort with a defined beginning and end.
Reusable shopping and household checklists. Build a template once, generate an instance when needed, and track completion across the household. Supports categories, priorities, and shared visibility.
Record utility bills and consumable purchases against inventory items. Build a running history of what things actually cost — per vendor, per period, per item. Useful for comparing suppliers, tracking inflation, and building a realistic picture of household running costs.
