Never miss maintenance

A home is a machine. Like any machine, it needs regular attention — filters replaced, systems serviced, seasonal tasks completed. Without a system, that work happens reactively. With Casabeza, it happens on schedule.

Tasks tied to items

Every task in Casabeza lives in the context of a specific item. The filter replacement task lives on the HVAC unit. The descaling procedure lives on the espresso machine. The annual service reminder lives on the boiler.

This means the task history is the item's maintenance history — one record, not two.

Task anatomy

A task can carry as much detail as the work requires:

  • Steps — an ordered procedure for completing the job
  • Required items — tools, consumables, or parts needed to complete the task
  • Cost tracking — log what was spent to complete the job
  • Completion notes — observations, anomalies, or follow-ups for the record
  • Scheduled recurrence — set the next due date when closing a task

The library

Casabeza includes a task library — a collection of reusable task templates that can be attached to items with a single action. Build your own library from procedures you've refined over time in your own home, and apply them to new items as they're added.

Templates encode your institutional knowledge. Instead of figuring out how to bleed a radiator from scratch each autumn, the procedure is already there, ready to assign.

Schedules

Tasks can be scheduled and tracked across time. See what's overdue, what's coming up, and what's been completed. Filter by item, location, or date range to get a clear picture of what the home needs right now.
